Talent is merely a Seed

“Talent is merely a Seed”

Talent is merely a Seed.
Talent isn’t everything.

Talent is a gift within us that one can nurture and grow.  The seed of talent can sprout with efforts of time and practice.  The practice of honing and developing the skills required to see that talent emerge.
One can have a talent and yet not use it.
I can’t think what a shame it is not to put energy into a talent.
Talent is a gift to share with others and serve the world.

I like to think that these newsletters of creative thoughts and art work has fulfilled that for me in some ways.

Thank you.

“Rain Showers”

My youngest daughter was Bat Mitzvah-ed the 1st day of this month.  She did well.  We’re so proud.  It was a lovely event.

Though the day started out with rain.  It cleared up in the afternoon.
Such is weather patterns.  “Wait 2 minutes and it changes”.

It’s the coming of the rain showers that make the earth bloom.
My daffodils bloomed.
There’s green grass in the horse pastures.
Tulip leaves have come through ready to bloom.
Tiny leaf buds are on trees.

Both my daughters are now into the teenage years.  oh boy.

Who knows what’s ahead.
Life is bountiful and boundless.
