Cheers to a New Year

Happy New Year

“Cheers to a new Year”

A new day and a new Year have begun.

A new blanket of white snow covers the ground.

Our girls get excited about snow.  To them the cold is a temporary discomfort.

Making and playing in the snow is what’s important. They make a snowman.  Or walk around making footprints in the snow all around the yard.  Then when they get cold they come back in to warm up.  They warm up inside with a cup of hot chocolate milk.

They’re happy and warm, and that’s all that matters.

Could it be that simple?

Can there be a change,  …a shift in  life?

Making and creating more wonderful moments in our lives?

Obama, our new president  believes we can.  Yes, We can.

We can look for the solutions rather than get stuck on problems.

We can focus on what we have rather than what we don’t have.

We can focus on the positive thoughts in situations rather than mull in the negative.

Yes,  We Can.

Here’s to the Year ahead.  The future ahead.

As stated in Star Trek, “Live Long and Prosper.”
