“Anticipation”
Here in the northeast, Winter still has some grip. The month of March is a month that one can always expect the weather to vary from very cold and snowy, to warm and rainy.
The Spring Equinox this year is on March 20.
And there are some signs of Spring. Good, thing.

I noted:
Crocuses in the side yard, along our driveway.
Red breasted Robin’s are back.
And the horses at the farm are starting to shed their winter coats.
“Sign, sign, everywhere a sign. “
Yet it can feel like a teasing.
Of course it’s a sign of things to come.
There’s a transition to go through. There are things that nature needs in place before it burst forth in full bloom.
In this fast paced world, there are still things that need time and transitions before fruitation.
So much the sweeter, don’t you think?

Soldier Portraits
Darla Dixon organized a group of artists who will create no-charge compassionate portraits for the families who have lost a loved one in Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom. We are looking for artists to join our efforts, and also for non-artists who will help spread the word about this free service and token of our gratitude to families who have sacrificed so much.”
