Dogs are the most popular pet in the United States, living in roughly 68 to 71 million households (about 53% of all U.S. homes).
Ok, so I’m not among those people that are dog owners, but I still like dogs.
I’m that person in the neighborhood who has enjoyed being a pal to the dogs next door.
Our neighbor had a puggle named Dakota. She looked like a pug, yet when she barked it was the sound of a “Hound dog Howl”. I’d visit her regularly since she was just next door. And if she was out and noticed me she’d howl a “Hello”. She passed on over the rainbow bridge a time ago. But I still remember that Howl.
During the summer in my daily travels to work/errands/etc, I’ve noted Dogs in cars going somewhere. So I compiled some sketches together.
