Thoughts on Motherhood

Thoughts on Motherhood

Just over 5 years ago, I gave birth to my oldest daughter Emily.

In the moment my first daughter was born, I became a mother. I remember the first time I saw that little face of hers. It was the most beautiful face. It was then that I felt like a “MOM”.

Before that I only had an inkling of what was too come.

Many days have passed since.

We’ve had a second daughter, Amanda.

It’s been wonderful watching them grow and learn each day.

Here’s a quotes for Mothers Day

A mother laughs our laughter,
Sheds our tears,
Returns our love,
Fears our fears.
She lives our joys,
Cares our cares,
And all our hopes and dreams she shares.
– Julia Summers

Blessing to Our Mothers.

Happy Mother’s Day

“Mare and Foal”

Pen and Ink

“Mare and Foal” is a pen and ink drawing.

I always enjoyed visiting the mare and foals at the barn where I used to take riding lessons.
