Now that spring is turning to summer, travel has increased for folks. And along with that there is road construction\u2014or destruction at times, as my mom has said.<\/p>\n
On the S curves part of Rte. 95 that bypasses Pawtucket, they\u2019ve rebuild one of the main bridges. We often travel on Rte. 95 to go visit family.<\/p>\n
I happen to notice once or twice while on the highway that at a couple of overpasses there was a mural that was painted on the retaining walls.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s one of them.<\/p>\n

I remember another one, but couldn\u2019t find it. Perhaps it was temporary.<\/p>\n
Here’s a link about the project. Art is everywhere.<\/p>\n Well not exactly \u2018everywhere\u201d, but it\u2019s around us. It\u2019s in our lives.<\/p>\n Who stops to admire it?<\/p>\n Are we so inundated with sounds, images, messages and such that we don\u2019t stop and notice. Do we filter out the noise?
