“A Throwback”<\/strong><\/p>\n

I’ve participated in exhibits over the years.
\nSome of the \u00a0exhibits were part of an art association. Others were arts fairs or festivals. \u00a0And one a solo exhibit.<\/p>\n

On FaceBook, I’ve noticed certain days people like to post a picture from the past, also known as TBT (Throwback Thursdays). \u00a0It is sort of fun to see pictures from the past. \u00a0I posted my baby picture on one TBT. \u00a0fun<\/p>\n

I thought I’d share a “Throwback” in my newsletter.<\/p>\n

In 1984, I entered one of my first exhibits. \u00a0It was the student exhibit with the Randolph Art Association.
\nI won a First place ribbon for my charcoal drawing of \u00a0“Horses”.<\/p>\n

Here one can see my art work with the blue ribbon. \u00a0Second one I’m standing next to the art displayed.
\nsigh, so many years ago. \u00a0\ud83d\ude00 \u00a0 Yet good to remember.<\/p>\n

Fast forward to now.<\/p>\n

I’ll be participating in an exhibit coming up starting in June. \u00a0The Members exhibit with the\u00a0Pawtucket Arts Collaborative<\/a>\u00a0group in their gallery. \u00a0It will be a summer long exhibit.

Soldier Portraits<\/strong>
\nDarla Dixon organized a group of artists who will create no-charge compassionate portraits for the families who have lost a loved one in Operation Iraqi Freedom\/Operation Enduring Freedom. We are looking for artists to join our efforts, and also for non-artists who will help spread the word about this free service and token of our gratitude to families who have sacrificed so much.”<\/p>\n
