{"id":2012,"date":"2016-07-22T23:55:40","date_gmt":"2016-07-22T23:55:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lisasart.com\/blog\/?p=2012"},"modified":"2016-07-22T23:55:40","modified_gmt":"2016-07-22T23:55:40","slug":"celebration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lisasart.com\/blog\/celebration\/","title":{"rendered":"Celebration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Celebration&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>4th of July-Independence weekend,\u00a0We went to a Pawtucket Red Sox game July 3. \u00a0Baseball, BBQ and Fireworks. \u00a0&#8230;.though it&#8217;s fun to enjoy a BBQ and fireworks, that&#8217;s not the underlining reason we celebrate Independence Day.<br \/>\nWe celebrate the fact that our founding fathers\u00a0were able to break from their original government and rulers to create a nation of their own.<\/p>\n<p>My husband and I at one point watch the movie version of &#8220;1776&#8221;. \u00a0According to the play and history,\u00a0becoming a\u00a0nation came down to the last minutes of the last hour.<\/p>\n<p>Well, This Pawsox was an unusual game. A long game ensued. \u00a0 The game went into 16th inngs.No one knew who was going to win. \u00a0At the beginning of the bottom of the 16th inning, the Clippers were one run ahead. \u00a0The Pawsox would get one runner on first base. \u00a0The next batter up hit the ball \u00a0out of the park to bring in 2 runs and win the game. \u00a0woohoooo<\/p>\n<p>At the climax of &#8220;1776&#8221; play, the representatives were down by one vote. \u00a0There had to be a majority of &#8220;Yes&#8221; votes to be able to sign the Declaration of Independence. \u00a0In the last minutes of the last hour, a representative stepped up and put a vote in for &#8220;Yes&#8221;.<br \/>\nOur country would become a nation, The United States of America.<br \/>\nTwo hundred Forty\u00a0years later our country is still going strong.<\/p>\n<p>Now that the Pawsox won, We got to see the Fireworks.
