“Sharing a view through my work\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

*The afternoon sun shines at a lower angle and washes over the grass and brushes in the pasture.\u00a0 Long shadows are formed since the sun is lower in the sky.\u00a0 A horse grazes peaceful in a corner of the pasture.\u00a0 The sunlight filters through and over \u00a0it\u2019s long beautiful flowing tail as well as across it\u2019s sturdy back. <\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

*Snow covered ground and trees still are visible as night comes on. <\/em><\/p>\n

One Turns into a long driveway toward the warmth of home. \"\"<\/em><\/p>\n

*Nature clothes it\u2019s creatures with beautiful patterns to match their surroundings.<\/em><\/p>\n

\n<\/em><\/p>\n

These are just some of the things I see in the world.\u00a0 Through my art I share this view of the world with others.<\/p>\n

I love James Herriot’s book series about his veterinarian adventures.\u00a0 One of his books is titled, \u201cAll creatures, Great and Small\u201d.\u00a0 I relate to that well.<\/p>\n

I share the things I see and the different points of view of what I see in my art work.<\/p>\n

\nDarla Dixon organized a group of artists who will create no-charge compassionate portraits for the families who have lost a loved one in Operation Iraqi Freedom\/Operation Enduring Freedom. We are looking for artists to join our efforts, and also for non-artists who will help spread the word about this free service and token of our gratitude to families who have sacrificed so much.”<\/p>\n
