Happy Spring<\/p>\n

\u201cKites and Wind<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n

My girls received some kites from one of their uncles recently. So on a warm sunny Saturday afternoon we took the girls to Chase Farm, which has land open to the public.\u00a0 It consists of an old farm house, fields, a flower garden and a pond.<\/p>\n

We walked up a field to a small hill and tried out the kites.\u00a0 The wind blew off and on.\u00a0 Our first attempts seemed minimal and only got kites up in spurts.\u00a0 There was someone else with a kite that was able to get the kite way up high.\u00a0 I wondered how.\u00a0 It looks so easy when others do it.\u00a0 We tried a few times and different methods.\u00a0\u00a0 Eventually and amazingly we got one kite up and high into the wind.\u00a0 It was great.<\/p>\n

I thought about the wind.\u00a0 It moves things along.\u00a0 The wind can fill and push a kite up and in many directions.\u00a0 The wind can carry a kite way up high into the sky to float above.\u00a0\u00a0 It can go from being a\u00a0 very gentle wind to a strong flowing wind.\u00a0 It feels good sometimes to feel the wind.<\/p>\n

My thoughts wonder where the wind can take me.\u00a0 Sometimes I feel like the wind is guiding me along my path.
\n\u201cFill me up and take me where I am to go.\u201d<\/p>\n

My art exhibit at One Turks Head Place, Providence.<\/p>\n

It was a wonderful exhibit with BankRI.\u00a0 The reception was great.\u00a0 It felt great to connect with others and receive their comments and compliments.<\/p>\n

My BankRI exhibit closed this past Wednesday.
\nOne can still view it at my scratch board page<\/a>, though.\u00a0 Each piece is for sale.<\/p>\n
