It can be part of a morning meditation routine. One takes a notebook and sits in a quiet space. One then writes down 10 things that he/she is grateful for right now. Then one writes 10 things that they would want. The notebook is then put aside. Each day it’s the same simple task. It can be done once or twice a day.

It’s about being “thankful” every day, in the morning and the evening.

One might ask, “Why the morning”. I’ll summarize what a rabbi spoke of at a service I was at.
He spoke about saying Thanks in the morning as a wonderful way to start the day and frame it in our minds. It could be the most powerful thing one can do each day.

I ‘ve found a gem in doing so.
So give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Feature Art/product

“Winter’s Eve” is a scratch board image I created from a photo I took when we were in New Hampshire.

This art work is one of the images in “White on Black” 2011 calendar, which is available for purchase.

Purchase “White on Black” 2011 calendar at lulu.com.

You can see the other scratch board works at my Scratch Board page.

Check out Great Gift items at Lisa’s Art & Horses

Please feel free to contact me with questions on art/products and/or comments at lisa@lisasart.com

Please feel free to forward this newsletter to friends and family. Just click the”Forward to a Friend” link below.

Art News
Lisa Guarino, dba Lisa’s Art & Horses

Exhibit at Pawtucket Arts Festival

558-560 Mineral Spring Ave., Pawtucket, RI

The Equine Art Guild’s News

“Le Cadeau du Cheval“

Several artists in the Equine Art Guild were a part of this unique tribute to the horse.
