Another Take for EQUUS masks.<\/p>\n
In 2000, I created 6 wire horse masks for Ubiquity stage theater co.\u2019s production of “EQUUS”.<\/p>\n

You can see other pictures from the production at: EQUUS page<\/a>.<\/p>\n The masks were admired by those that saw the play.<\/p>\n Another year, one mask was used for another play.<\/p>\n I entered one mask into a Juried exhibit, but it didn\u2019t get picked to be in. oh, well.<\/p>\n Then for a while they lay in storage.<\/p>\n Last year I got an inquiry to use one for a \u00a0high school production of “EQUUS”.\u00a0 Yet it didn\u2019t pan out because of shipping \u2013 over seas to Scotland.\u00a0 Cool at the least- a joy to connect.<\/p>\n Apparently the time for these masks hasn\u2019t yet gone away.\u00a0 Another opportunity has come.<\/p>\n The Pawtucket Arts Collaborative is holding a members exhibit this summer. The theme of the exhibit is \u201cMasked and Unmasked\u201d.<\/p>\n “Hmm”, I said to myself when I read the details for the exhibit.\u00a0 “EQUUS mask would be a perfect fit.”<\/p>\n So another opportunity to exhibit my twisted wire horse masks.<\/p>\n Who knew.
