Ah yes, September is here.\u00a0 September is a month of endings and new beginnings. <\/span><\/p>\n \n The Summer is over. The girls had a great time this summer learning to swim and enjoying the warm days of summer. But as the seasons change so does our routine. <\/span><\/p>\n \n Schools are opening once again for the school year.\u00a0 Our oldest daughter, Emily,is now in the 1st<\/sup> grade.\u00a0 She likes her teacher this year (Mrs. McDonald) and is enjoying school.\u00a0 Our youngest daughter, Amanda, will start her second year of preschool this coming Monday.\u00a0 She\u2019s looking forward to going to \u201cher\u201d school as she calls it .\u00a0 She loves playing and learning. <\/span><\/p>\n \n Days change with the seasons.\u00a0 There are beginnings and endings yet the circle of life is continous. <\/span><\/p>\n We recently experienced that more so than usual. <\/span><\/p>\n From Fall to Spring our girls go to dance classes at this local dance studio.\u00a0 The studio has a \u201ccommunity\/family feeling\u201d to it.\u00a0 Well the oldest daughter of the owner of the studio developed ovarian cancer 3 years ago at age 17.\u00a0 After a 3 yr. fight with cancer she passed away last Friday.\u00a0 The out pouring of love was monumental.\u00a0 We cried and comforted each other.\u00a0 This young woman touched, taught and inspired many through her love of Dancing. <\/span><\/p>\n I saw her first dancing on stage when my niece was first involved in this dance studio years ago.\u00a0 When she danced on stage she shined.\u00a0 Everyone around her could feel the love she expressed through her dance.\u00a0 She was an inspiration to watch.\u00a0 Through the ups and downs of life she showed others how to \u201cdance\u201d through it all. <\/span><\/p>\n I can\u2019t imagine the pain the family has had and pray that they find peace.\u00a0 I can only imagine her dancing in heaven now. <\/span><\/p>\n \n The cycle of life is an amazing journey.\u00a0 We can do our best to take in each step of the way: Learning, Teaching and Inspiring each other.<\/span><\/p>\n \n To find out more about Ovarian cancer you can visit, www.ovarian.org<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n \n \n \n Works-in \u2013progress<\/span><\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n \n I promised to show my progress in creating images from our trips to the zoo. <\/span><\/p>\n \n I created some first drawings from some of the photos I took on our trips to the local Zoos.<\/span><\/p>\n Drawings: Zoo<\/a> <\/span><\/p>\n Feature Art\/product<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n “Two Horses Playing<\/a> “<\/span><\/p>\n “Two Horses Playing ” is one of my newest images.
