“Breath Love”<\/p>\n

A good friend of mine passed away recently, ending her fight with cancer.\u00a0 Before she died, she pondered some questions.\u00a0 One question was \u201cWho am I\u201d. She thought about it for a few days.<\/p>\n

She pronounced one day to a friend , \u201cI know who I AM, I\u2019m Love\u201d.\u00a0 Through her life she did exhibit much love.\u00a0 She touched many people in her life: family, friends, children and adults she taught horseback riding to, people she cared for, etc.\u00a0 Though her time on this earth seemed to be shortened, her life was full and full of love.<\/p>\n

Love is what binds us together in many ways and facets.\u00a0 There are family, friends, loved ones\/partners in life and so much more.\u00a0 Love expands.<\/p>\n

I attended her viewing and \u201cCelebration of her Life\u201d service.\u00a0 There were many people at both events.\u00a0 Some people I hadn\u2019t seen for a number of years as my life shifted the way \u2026..well, the way life does.\u00a0 Yet despite the years and time there was a strong connection there for us all.\u00a0 Comfort to share, Memories to talk about and being present in time. And more than anything, Love stood out among us all and connected us.<\/p>\n

Love interwines and weaves through our lives.<\/p>\n

In this rough time of change, we have each other to get through each day.<\/p>\n

So ask the Questions:<\/p>\n

Who am I?
\nHow do I want to be in this world?
\nHow do I want to contribute to this world?<\/p>\n

I learned about a meditative prayer to help bring ease.
\nBreath in Peace, Breath out Love<\/a>\u2014a simple meditative practice.<\/p>\n

\nDarla Dixon organized a group of artists who will create no-charge compassionate portraits for the families who have lost a loved one in Operation Iraqi Freedom\/Operation Enduring Freedom. We are looking for artists to join our efforts, and also for non-artists who will help spread the word about this free service and token of our gratitude to families who have sacrificed so much.”<\/p>\n
