{"id":796,"date":"2012-04-10T01:33:35","date_gmt":"2012-04-10T01:33:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lisasart.com\/blog\/?p=796"},"modified":"2012-04-10T17:32:33","modified_gmt":"2012-04-10T17:32:33","slug":"in-good-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lisasart.com\/blog\/in-good-time\/","title":{"rendered":"In Good Time"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cIn Good Time\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m happy to report I\u2019m on the mend.\u00a0 Our bodies do heal when given time to do so.\u00a0 Though impatience and restlessness do surface, I try to remember to breath and relax.\u00a0 Not always easy.<br \/>\nMy hubby\u2019s funny remark to Patience is \u201cPatience.\u00a0 How long is that going to take?\u201d.\u00a0 Yes, we live in a society that does seem to rush and want things, \u201cNow\u2019.\u00a0 Yet sometimes the sweetest things come with time, like a fine wine.<\/p>\n<p>Slowly but surely I\u2019m able to do a little more with my foot each day.<br \/>\nLike in the \u201cTortoise and the Hare\u201d, we learn that slow and steady wins the race.<br \/>\nRushing through could burn someone out, or in my case hurt my foot over again.\u00a0 Instead I can pace myself each day. Click on the image above to read all about it and the artists who participated in it&#8217;s creation, as well as see where it will be coming to a location near you in the coming year!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Soldier Portraits<\/strong><br \/>\nDarla Dixon organized a group of artists who will create no-charge compassionate portraits for the families who have lost a loved one in Operation Iraqi Freedom\/Operation Enduring Freedom.
