\nI\u2019ve had people find me through searches too.\u00a0 One person recently contacted me through email because He saw my web site. He emailed me with his interest and a phone number.
\nI called and we talked on the phone.\u00a0 His project was a mural in his place of business.\u00a0 He was local so we also met to discuss the project too. I was able to do this project<\/a> for him.
\nNow if I didn\u2019t \u201cget out there and do things\u201d,\u00a0 he wouldn\u2019t have been able to see my work and be interested.<\/p>\n
Since I do the things I can to \u201cget out there\u201d, Opportunities do surface.
\nGranted I wish it were more consistent, but it is what is.
\nI know that with everything I do to get myself out there I increase the possibilities of finding work and projects.

\nDarla Dixon organized a group of artists who will create no-charge compassionate portraits for the families who have lost a loved one in Operation Iraqi Freedom\/Operation Enduring Freedom. We are looking for artists to join our efforts, and also for non-artists who will help spread the word about this free service and token of our gratitude to families who have sacrificed so much.”<\/p>\n
