This image was inspired from the beauty, speed and stamina of the Thoroughbred horses.

Watching this past weekend’s race at The Preakness, second leg of the Triple Crown, it’s hard not to admire the true heart and stamina of the horse.

In a moment after the turn to the stretch the lead horse, Scappy T veered right and clipped heels with Afleet Alex. There in that moment the thought of disaster was, but then miraculously “Alex” regained his footing. Not only did he save himself and his jockey from a terrible fall, but ran ahead and won the race.

May we all continue to admire their beauty and strength that they so exhibit.

  1. Ghostly, etheral…I love this one! It really has some kind of pull, I can’t quite stop looking at it.
