daffodils

“Blooming”

“April showers bring May-flowers.”

Rain has brought flowers thankfully. Our daffodils are in bloom. And they look so lovely in the front yard.
I also spy some other green leaves. I identified one set of leaves as tulip leaves. The flower will grow a stem and bud that will open. Not just yet, but in good time.

Good things, as blooming, come in their own natural time.

Both my girls were born in spring time months, March and April. They’re growing too, of course. Ah yes, another year passing by.

Red robins, Mocking birds and others are back for the warmer weather.

We’ve had some warmer days.

At the farm I volunteer at, at least a couple of the horses and the adult pig were sun bathing in the warmth of the sun yesterday. It’s wonderful to take in this spring weather.

Take time to enjoy it.

Feature Art/Product

“Early Morning”

Pen and Ink/ Watercolor pencils

I did this drawing for a weekly drawing event. The image was done for the word “Early”.

In the morning now with spring in full swing I hear birds outside my window. The Northeastern Mocking bird can be heard mimicking the other birds in the area. It’s long drawn out song is a mix of other bird calls. I love to hear it.
