“Cup Runneth Over”
Well, there was a delay in me writing this month’s e-newsletter.
You might say we were so busy our “cup runneth over”.
We did a lot of purging and moving stuff out and rearranging things in our home so our oldest daughter could have her own room and space in the upstairs room.
The room had been our office, my studio space.
Yet we decided there was a needed change so we did it.
I also ended up being sick for a week or so with some dizziness. Ugh
So there was a lot of personal care required this month.
Life serves up such things. Things can change in ways one might not expect. Yet we must do what we can and do our best.
We did have a wonderful relaxing weekend going camping with the family. It was a good experience and fun.
We went to the white Mountains in NH.
It had been a while since we visited there.
I was reminded how much I enjoy seeing the mountains, which are just amazing and majestic.
It was a good soul recovering trip.
Remember: we must refill our cup when it is empty.
Best,
Lisa G.

Darla Dixon organized a group of artists who will create no-charge compassionate portraits for the families who have lost a loved one in Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom. We are looking for artists to join our efforts, and also for non-artists who will help spread the word about this free service and token of our gratitude to families who have sacrificed so much.”
