IllustrationFriday: creative fun- Sight

word of week: Sight

I decided to deviate a little and go with a phrase with the word “sight” in it.

“What a Sight”

illustrationfriday word of week- sight "What a Sight"

“What a sight it is”  to see a young foal find his legs, though long and lanky, and run for the pure pleasure of it.  Horses are gifted with strength and speed. As “prey” animals in the wild, they do need to be able to run at a moments notice. Yet the young foals do seem to enjoy running and jumping in play.  Moving and playing are part of growing.

This image was done from a reference photo I took at the horse farm I used to take riding lessons at.
This was one of the new foals that year. The Mare and foal were out in the coral. There were still some puddles from the melting spring snow. The sun was shining bright and this foal ran round and round. His reflection could be seen in the puddles for just a glimpse as he passed by a puddle.

Pure Joy.

Enjoy
