word of week: Asleep
Today, I refined a drawing I had done a while back of my first daughter when she was a baby.
I had done a quick sketch of her sleeping.
There is just something about watching a baby sleep that’s so peaceful and sweet. …and how often as parents we check in on our children after they go to bed to look in on them and listen to their soft breathe admits sleep. 🙂
My first daughter is now 9 and my youngest is 7. How time flies. *sigh
