Summer sunshine

Summer is a time to get outdoors and enjoy nature. It’s a time to explore.

My oldest daughter has taken an interest in flowers, so I’m tending to a flower garden in it’s beginnings. It’s great to see her so excited about it.

Being outdoors now I notice more how they’ve grown. Emily has made progress in getting used to being in water and enjoys splashing in the pool. Amanda has enjoyed the water from the start, but now is able to splash and enjoy it even more now that she’s truly mobile.

Being able to get outside has been good for me too. A change of scenery is great for inspiration. With a clear mind I can accomplish my goals.

What’s new in my art biz

As many business owners know, running a business takes working it regularily, thru the fruitful times and slower times.

Summer can be a slow time.
So I’ve been…
Exchanging services and products: banners for advertise space.
Creating new products: I have a couple of new designs
Reading up on business matters: thru a barter I received a marketing for business book. I’ve been reading it at night.
Preparing: I’ve been working on two different pastel portraits for upcoming online exhibits.
