Happy New Year
“Words to focus”
Another year has begun.
I had done some reflection on the past year.
Then I thought about what I want to focus on for the new year.
One thing I’ve found helpful that I’ve picked up in a coaching group I’m involved in is coming up with a word or two words to focus on throughout the year.
Last year I focused on Connection.
This year I chose “Open and Creative”.
I want to be Open to what will be. Open to opportunities that show up. Aware of life’s ebb and flow. Meet the crests and valleys the best I can.
And of course, I have to have creativity in the mix. After all creativity can be quite an asset.
To be able to see things at different angles and in different ways.
To find the positives aspects and lessons in any situation.
To find solutions.
What word or words will you choose?
Let me know.
You can leave a message below.
Best wishes for the new year.

Soldier Portraits
Darla Dixon organized a group of artists who will create no-charge compassionate portraits for the families who have lost a loved one in Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom. We are looking for artists to join our efforts, and also for non-artists who will help spread the word about this free service and token of our gratitude to families who have sacrificed so much.”
