Happy Birthday
February 7th was my birthday.
I’m sure I’m not the only one having a birthday this month.
In fact, I imagine that each day of the year there is someone having a birthday some where in the world.
How awesome is that.
We were born. We’re here.
We can celebrate Life.
With every breathe we live.
Though in the same token it is said that we are that much closer to our departing.
We can cherish the present moments now.
I once heard the poem, “Breathe in Peace, Breathe out Love” in a funeral sermon.
(main chorus phrase)
Breathe in Peace.
Breathe out Love.
Breathe in Peace.
Breathe out Love.
Take a quiet moment to join in this meditation.
Big breathe in.
“Breathe in Peace”.
Breath the breathe out.
“Breathe out Love.”
Thank you for being a part of my life and journey.

“Miss 545 and Foal”
“Miss545 was a school horse I rode when I took riding lessons in the 1990’s. We had great fun.
She was also a broodmare that the farm owners bred to their stallion. She had 3 foals.
I got to see them.
Treasured memories.
Cherish the memories.

Soldier Portraits
Darla Dixon organized a group of artists who will create no-charge compassionate portraits for the families who have lost a loved one in Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom. We are looking for artists to join our efforts, and also for non-artists who will help spread the word about this free service and token of our gratitude to families who have sacrificed so much.”
