“Spooks and Gifts”
I volunteer at Horses Bring Hope therapeutic riding program.
Last night Horses Bring Hope hosted their “Spooktacular” fundrasing event in Quonset, RI.
It was a lot of fun. Guests came in costume. The food was great. And we had a long table of items to raffle off to lucky winners.
I contributed some art work items toward this wonderful group’s raffle table.
With my love of horses, I naturally enjoy drawing them.
And where I volunteer at this horse program, that gives me ample models to draw.
Here is a portrait print I did of “Moony”.

And cards images.

And I added a couple of T-shirts into the bunch, too.

Some happy lucky winners won these items.
Feels so good to be able to contribute to a great program that I feel passion about.

Soldier Portraits
Darla Dixon organized a group of artists who will create no-charge compassionate portraits for the families who have lost a loved one in Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom. We are looking for artists to join our efforts, and also for non-artists who will help spread the word about this free service and token of our gratitude to families who have sacrificed so much.”
